I realize that it’s extremely en vogue right now to be earth-conscious and that’s fine. We should take care of the earth the best we can because it’s the only one we’ve got. However, we should take care of it because we have a need to do it, not because we have someone dictating what we should do based on false scientific data. If someone can show me definitively where humans are causing global warming, I’ll become one of the most vocal supporters out there. However, there are way too many studies that are showing that global warming is not human-caused. Just because the earth is getting warm, or cold for that matter, is no reason to pass all kinds of legislation. GLOBAL WARMING IS NOT CAUSED BY HUMANS!!! The current administration is tring to make a crisis out of it so they can pass legislation, just like they did with the porkulus bill.

http://www.climatedepot.com/a/429/Report-Democrats-Refuse-to-Allow-Skeptic-to-Testify-Alongside-Gore-At-Congressional-Hearing

Please read this article. Why would fat Al Gore not want to go toe to toe and nose to nose with someone who has an opposite view from him? I’ll tell you why. Because fat Al does not have the science to back him up. The tide is turning in the scientific community. Scientists are now looking at the damage the government will do with the bogus information that was published, that they then stayed mum on as they were afraid of being lambasted by their colleagues on the left. Science and the results of scientific research are not supposed to be affected by politics. But we all know that it is because most of the money for research comes from the government. The current state of affairs on Capitol Hill as it pertains to global warming/climate change is way out of control. The only reason that certain elements within our government want to pass legislation is so they can collect money to fund things that do not have anything to do with taking care of the planet.

Please… Pressure your Congressman and Senators to get us out of this crisis management mode that they are in on Capitol Hill and the White House. I don’t care if Barack Obama “won”. He doesn’t get to make ALL the rules. We make the rules. And if we don’t stand up and urge our representatives to stand up and gather all the people we know to stand up, we’re doomed to have our society plundered by the left. Our prosperity, “the American Way”, will be gone forever.

Check out this link as well. It’s a good discussion on how much CO2 a human exhales in a day/week/month. Some of it’s pretty dry. Scroll down to comment 29. It’s a good one. http://micpohling.wordpress.com/2007/03/27/math-how-much-co2-is-emitted-by-human-on-earth-annually/
