I’ve been listening to quite a few people’s opinions about our President and his policies. Most people that I talk to are past the point of being disappointed. They are downright pissed off. Most of them want the President removed. In fact, they wish he had never been elected. However, they don’t wish any harm to come to him. That’s just not right, and not just because Biden would be a worse President. And heaven forbid the chain of succession ever got to where Pelosi would be President. I digress….. I did hear one person say it would be nice if we could get some dirt on him so we could impeach him. To that end, I have found an article that might help us get to that point. It comes from The Washington Examiner on July 27, 2009, written by Mark Tapscott. It talks about some dirty dealings in the “bailout” of Chrysler. If this thing could get some legs under it, we may be on to something. Read on…..

I realize that it’s extremely en vogue right now to be earth-conscious and that’s fine. We should take care of the earth the best we can because it’s the only one we’ve got. However, we should take care of it because we have a need to do it, not because we have someone dictating what we should do based on false scientific data. If someone can show me definitively where humans are causing global warming, I’ll become one of the most vocal supporters out there. However, there are way too many studies that are showing that global warming is not human-caused. Just because the earth is getting warm, or cold for that matter, is no reason to pass all kinds of legislation. GLOBAL WARMING IS NOT CAUSED BY HUMANS!!! The current administration is tring to make a crisis out of it so they can pass legislation, just like they did with the porkulus bill.

http://www.climatedepot.com/a/429/Report-Democrats-Refuse-to-Allow-Skeptic-to-Testify-Alongside-Gore-At-Congressional-Hearing

Please read this article. Why would fat Al Gore not want to go toe to toe and nose to nose with someone who has an opposite view from him? I’ll tell you why. Because fat Al does not have the science to back him up. The tide is turning in the scientific community. Scientists are now looking at the damage the government will do with the bogus information that was published, that they then stayed mum on as they were afraid of being lambasted by their colleagues on the left. Science and the results of scientific research are not supposed to be affected by politics. But we all know that it is because most of the money for research comes from the government. The current state of affairs on Capitol Hill as it pertains to global warming/climate change is way out of control. The only reason that certain elements within our government want to pass legislation is so they can collect money to fund things that do not have anything to do with taking care of the planet.

Please… Pressure your Congressman and Senators to get us out of this crisis management mode that they are in on Capitol Hill and the White House. I don’t care if Barack Obama “won”. He doesn’t get to make ALL the rules. We make the rules. And if we don’t stand up and urge our representatives to stand up and gather all the people we know to stand up, we’re doomed to have our society plundered by the left. Our prosperity, “the American Way”, will be gone forever.

Check out this link as well. It’s a good discussion on how much CO2 a human exhales in a day/week/month. Some of it’s pretty dry. Scroll down to comment 29. It’s a good one. http://micpohling.wordpress.com/2007/03/27/math-how-much-co2-is-emitted-by-human-on-earth-annually/

There are differing opinions on whether global warming (now called climate change as there have been scientific observations of global cooling) exists or doesn’t. And if it does exist, what’s mankind’s part in making it worse. I have contended from the earliest days of conversation on the topic that the earth goes thru cyclical changes and these changes don’t occur over the span of a few years. The changes occur over hundreds and/or thousands of years. There were two articles on Saturday on the topic. One is about how Congress is considering far-reaching legislation that would ultimately increase everyone’s spending on energy as Congress is contemplating putting huge taxes and fees on energy companies. Of course, these fees will be passed on to the consumer, You! http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/04/18/congress-considers-far-reaching-global-warming/

On the same day that that article came out, a second article was available on the same website that claims that the Antartic ice shelf is actually expanding. Yes, getting bigger! Because it’s colder! http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,517035,00.html

This is the next cash cow. Everyone jump on board if you can stomach it. I, personally, would have a hard time making money off of a lie. I’m just funny that way I guess. I don’t believe in fleecing anyone. But Al Gore doesn’t have a conscious. He has made over $100M on scaring people into thinking that global warming exists. He owns huge stakes in companies that sell carbon credits. Feel bad about all the emissions from your plane trip to see family over spring break? No problem. Buy carbon credits from one of fat Al’s companies and they’ll plant a tree for you so you can feel like you’re “carbon neutral”.

I’m telling you. If you can get right with it, there’s alot of money to be made here.

Since I am the Arizona Carnivore, it’s pretty obvious I’m in AZ. There is a website here that is organizing a tea party event for April 15. I would urge everyone, whether in AZ or not, to go join a tea party. Let your voice be heard. My greatest fear is that this movement will die down after April 15th. We need to continue to carry the message forward. For me, this is not something that goes away once my tax return is filed. I hope you feel the same way.

I have provided a link to the AZ tea party site. They have linked a video blog to the page that I think everyone should watch. I was first introduced to this guy’s video blogs about 3 days before the last presidential election. His arguements are most compelling. www.arizonateaparty.com/site/index-3.html

It’s very easy to get confused on how we got into this mess. I got this from a friend and I thought it helped explain our current economic state such that anyone over about 16 years old should be able to understand it. This doesn’t squarely place blame. That’s not what this is about. You can draw your own conclusions on who is at fault. If, after reading this, you still don’t understand. Don’t worry about it. You’re a liberal and always will be. Read on.
———————————————–

Heidi is the proprietor of a bar. In order to increase sales, she
decides to allow her loyal customers – most of whom are unemployed
alcoholics – to drink now but pay later. She keeps track of the drinks
consumed in a ledger (thereby granting the customers loans).

Word gets around and as a result increasing numbers of customers flood into
Heidi’s bar.

Taking advantage of her customers’ freedom from immediate payment
constraints, Heidi increases her prices for wine and beer, the most-consumed
beverages. Her sales volume increases massively.

A young and dynamic customer service consultant at the local bank recognizes
these customer debts as valuable future assets and increases Heidi’s
borrowing limit.

He sees no reason for undue concern since he has the debts of the alcoholics
as collateral.

At the bank’s corporate headquarters, expert bankers transform these
customer assets into DRINKBONDS, ALKBONDS and PUKEBONDS. These securities
are then traded on markets worldwide. No one really understands what these
abbreviations mean and how the securities are guaranteed. Nevertheless, as
their prices continuously climb, the securities become top-selling items.

One day, although the prices are still climbing, a risk manager of the bank
(subsequently fired for his negativity) decides that the time has come to
demand payment of the debts incurred by the drinkers at Heidi’s bar.

However they cannot pay back the debts.

Heidi cannot fulfill her loan obligations and claims bankruptcy.

DRINKBOND and ALKBOND drop in price by 95%. PUKEBOND performs better,
stabilizing in price after dropping by 80%.

The suppliers of Heidi’s bar, having granted her generous payment due dates
and having invested in the securities are faced with a new situation. Her
wine supplier claims bankruptcy, her beer supplier is taken over by a
competitor.

The bank is saved by the Government following dramatic round-the-clock
consultations by leaders from the governing political parties.

The funds required for the purpose of saving the bank are obtained by a tax levied on the
non-drinkers.

Finally an explanation we can understand…

I ask myself that question at least a couple of times each day. Some Americans are so enthralled by the fact that they don’t have Bush in office anymore that they just don’t care what’s going on. Anything has to be better than when Bush was in office, right? Wrong. The economy has gotten worse. Unemployment continues to rise. The administration is going to install a cap and trade system on carbon emissions that will, in effect, be the most oppresive tax on middle and low income Americans that they have probably ever seen. There are plans to change the entire global monetary system and our government is going to lead the way on it.

A question: What the hell are you doing America!? You definitely aren’t paying attention to what’s going on. Even the current President of the EU, Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek, is fuming about what Obama and his administration is doing, not just to the US economy, but to the world economy. He told the European Parliament that Obama’s massive stimulus package and banking bailout “will undermine the stability of the global financial market.” http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,510445,00.html I’ve been wondering for some time whether that’s what our President really intends. I think he’s just so inexperienced and so naive that he thinks that you can fix any problem if you throw enough money at it. Sometimes that works. But it never works when the government does it. We don’t need the government to take our money by levying higher taxes just to repackage the money in a so-called “stimulus package” and give it to those they deem worthy of spending it to stimulate the economy. How about instead of going around the horn with my money just to give it back, the government just leave my money with me in the first place!

I hope this honeymoon is over soon. I’m not used to being bent over this much.

Confused About All The ‘isms Being Thrown Around? No Longer…Here’s Your Handy Guide:

Traditional Capitalism
You have two cows. You sell one and buy a bull. Your herd multiplies, and the economy grows. You sell the herd and retire on the income.

Socialism
You have two cows. The State takes one to give to a poorer neighbor.

Communism
You have two cows. The State takes both and gives you some milk.

Fascism
You have two cows. The State takes both and sells you some milk.

Nazism
You have two cows. The State takes both and shoots you.

Bureaucratism
You have two cows. The State takes both, shoots one, milks the other, and then throws the milk away.

An American Publicly-Held Corporation
You have two cows. You sell one to reduce costs and force the other to produce the milk of four cows. Later, you hire a consultant to analyze why the cow has dropped dead. You apply for federal Bailout funds as you’re too big to fail.

AIG Venture Capitalism
You have two cows. You sell three of them to your publicly listed company, using letters of credit opened by your brother-in-law at the bank, then execute a debt/equity swap with an associated general offer so that you show getting four cows back, with a tax exemption for five cows. The milk rights of the six cows are transferred via an intermediary to a Cayman Island company secretly owned by the majority shareholder. He sells the rights to now seven cows back to your listed company. The annual report says the company owns eight cows, with an option for one more. You then sell one of these cows to buy a new president of the United States, leaving you with assets of nine cows. No balance sheet provided with the release. Then the public buys your bull.

I read an article today that says that the Treasury Department (TD, but read Tim Geithner) is seeking to be given the power to “seize large insurers, investment firms and hedge funds, leaping beyond its present authority to seize only banks.” What are we doing, America!? Why are we letting the executive branch of our government have so much power? Why is the legislative branch not checking this power grab? Probably because the legislative branch is dominated by Democrats who are blindly following the anointed one. It appears that they might, just might be waking up a bit. There are some small signs of intelligent life in the Congress. If we (the people, not Congress) allow this power grab to happen, where does it stop? Can the government seize General Electric if their lending arm, GE Capital is having problems? I think that’s what you’ll see. The TD will interpret this however it likes and any publicly traded company will be able to be grabbed up by the TD. Why are we letting this, along with all the other heinous things, happen? Do we not elect these officials into office? Are they not listening to us now? If that’s the case, we need to get rid of them when we can, starting with Congress in 2010. Controlling business is just a start. And if you think they won’t go after privately held businesses if we let them get away with controlling public companies, you’re a moron.

Democrats want to control every aspect of our lives. They want to control health care so they can tell you what, when and most probably why you’re not going to get that procedure you need. They want to control what we say. Case to point, their push for the fairness doctrine. They want to control who can own guns and what kind. Pssst…they don’t want you owning any guns. They’re just starting with “assault weapons”. Handguns are next, followed by rifles, then shotguns. Do a google search for “eric holder gun control”. There is so much content to read, you’d grow old if you tried. They want to control the workplace by instituting a law that would require open ballot voting for unions. That throws sand in the face of our entire system of voting. They are even talking about controlling how much people will make at their jobs. They’ll start with the top execs and work their way down. Keep in mind, this is just to keep it all fair. Yeah, right.

President Obama has added more to the deficit in his first 60 days in office than was created from 1789 to the day before he was inaugurated. That’s astonishing. How will we pay for this? Do you really think it will come only from those that make over $250K per year? There’s not enough of those types of people to prop it up. They have to go after the middle class to get that kind of money. Sadly, there are all types of people out there that bought into Obama’s “95% of Americans will get a tax cut” BS. How’s your $13 a week? That really increased your buying power, now didn’t it. I wonder how that will offset the increase in energy costs that EVERY American is going to have to pay. That’s right. If you use electricity, you will be paying an oppressive tax on your energy. And it’s most oppressive on the lower income earners. But these people seem to only be focused on the entitlement side of the equation. Gimme, gimme! What they don’t seem to or don’t want to realize is that they pay a higher percentage of their income to their energy costs than does someone who makes more money than them. Shhhh….don’t tell them this. They’ll push for subsidized energy for lower income people. Shhh…. Well, you know that’s gonna happen. They won’t push for it until the taxes are in place tho. At that point all the liberal cattle will just follow along with their gimme gimme attitudes.

If you don’t have a problem with what’s going on with all the money WE DON’T HAVE being spent, you’re not looking closely enough. PAY ATTENTION!!! WAKE UP!!!
