Impeach Obama?? Well….maybe….

September 4th, 2009 azcarnivore No comments

I’ve been listening to quite a few people’s opinions about our President and his policies. Most people that I talk to are past the point of being disappointed. They are downright pissed off. Most of them want the President removed. In fact, they wish he had never been elected. However, they don’t wish any harm to come to him. That’s just not right, and not just because Biden would be a worse President. And heaven forbid the chain of succession ever got to where Pelosi would be President. I digress….. I did hear one person say it would be nice if we could get some dirt on him so we could impeach him.   To that end, I have found an article that might help us get to that point.  It comes from The Washington Examiner on July 27, 2009, written by Mark Tapscott.  It talks about some dirty dealings in the “bailout” of Chrysler.  If this thing could get some legs under it, we may be on to something.   Read on…..

More on climate change (or lack thereof)

April 24th, 2009 azcarnivore No comments

I realize that it’s extremely en vogue right now to be earth-conscious and that’s fine. We should take care of the earth the best we can because it’s the only one we’ve got. However, we should take care of it because we have a need to do it, not because we have someone dictating what we should do based on false scientific data.   If someone can show me definitively where humans are causing global warming, I’ll become one of the most vocal supporters out there.  However, there are way too many studies that are showing that global warming is not human-caused.  Just because the earth is getting warm, or cold for that matter, is no reason to pass all kinds of legislation.  GLOBAL WARMING IS NOT CAUSED BY HUMANS!!!  The current administration is tring to make a crisis out of it so they can pass legislation, just like they did with the porkulus bill.

Climate change – the next cash cow

April 21st, 2009 azcarnivore No comments

There are differing opinions on whether global warming (now called climate change as there have been scientific observations of global cooling) exists or doesn’t.  And if it does exist, what’s mankind’s part in making it worse.  I have contended from the earliest days of conversation on the topic that the earth goes thru cyclical changes and these changes don’t occur over the span of a few years.  The changes occur over hundreds and/or thousands of years.  There were two articles on Saturday on the topic.  One is about how Congress is considering far-reaching legislation that would ultimately increase everyone’s spending on energy as Congress is contemplating putting huge taxes and fees on energy companies.  Of course, these fees will be passed on to the consumer, You!  http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/04/18/congress-considers-far-reaching-global-warming/

On the same day that that article came out, a second article was available on the same website that claims that the Antartic ice shelf is actually expanding.  Yes, getting bigger!  Because it’s colder!  http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,517035,00.html

This is the next cash cow.  Everyone jump on board if you can stomach it.  I, personally, would have a hard time making money off of a lie.  I’m just funny that way I guess.  I don’t believe in fleecing anyone.  But Al Gore doesn’t have a conscious.  He has made over $100M on scaring people into thinking that global warming exists.  He owns huge stakes in companies that sell carbon credits.  Feel bad about all the emissions from your plane trip to see family over spring break?  No problem.  Buy carbon credits from one of fat Al’s companies and they’ll plant a tree for you so you can feel like you’re “carbon neutral”.

I’m telling you.  If you can get right with it, there’s alot of money to be made here.

Tea Parties

April 14th, 2009 azcarnivore 2 comments

Since I am the Arizona Carnivore, it’s pretty obvious I’m in AZ. There is a website here that is organizing a tea party event for April 15. I would urge everyone, whether in AZ or not, to go join a tea party. Let your voice be heard. My greatest fear is that this movement will die down after April 15th. We need to continue to carry the message forward. For me, this is not something that goes away once my tax return is filed. I hope you feel the same way.

I have provided a link to the AZ tea party site. They have linked a video blog to the page that I think everyone should watch. I was first introduced to this guy’s video blogs about 3 days before the last presidential election. His arguements are most compelling.  www.arizonateaparty.com/site/index-3.html

The economic crisis explained in easy terms

April 7th, 2009 azcarnivore No comments

It’s very easy to get confused on how we got into this mess. I got this from a friend and I thought it helped explain our current economic state such that anyone over about 16 years old should be able to understand it. This doesn’t squarely place blame. That’s not what this is about. You can draw your own conclusions on who is at fault. If, after reading this, you still don’t understand. Don’t worry about it. You’re a liberal and always will be.  Read on. Read more…

When will the honeymoon be over?

March 28th, 2009 azcarnivore 1 comment

I ask myself that question at least a couple of times each day. Some Americans are so enthralled by the fact that they don’t have Bush in office anymore that they just don’t care what’s going on. Anything has to be better than when Bush was in office, right? Wrong. The economy has gotten worse. Unemployment continues to rise. The administration is going to install a cap and trade system on carbon emissions that will, in effect, be the most oppresive tax on middle and low income Americans that they have probably ever seen. There are plans to change the entire global monetary system and our government is going to lead the way on it. Read more…

How the government works

I can’t take credit for this, but I thought it funny and scarily appropriate.

When is enough enough?

I read an article today that says that the Treasury Department (TD, but read Tim Geithner) is seeking to be given the power to “seize large insurers, investment firms and hedge funds, leaping beyond its present authority to seize only banks.” What are we doing, America!? Why are we letting the executive branch of our government have so much power? Why is the legislative branch not checking this power grab? Probably because the legislative branch is dominated by Democrats who are blindly following the anointed one. It appears that they might, just might be waking up a bit. There are some small signs of intelligent life in the Congress. If we (the people, not Congress) allow this power grab to happen, where does it stop? Can the government seize General Electric if their lending arm, GE Capital is having problems? I think that’s what you’ll see. The TD will interpret this however it likes and any publicly traded company will be able to be grabbed up by the TD. Why are we letting this, along with all the other heinous things, happen? Do we not elect these officials into office? Are they not listening to us now? If that’s the case, we need to get rid of them when we can, starting with Congress in 2010. Controlling business is just a start.  And if you think they won’t go after privately held businesses if we let them get away with controlling public companies, you’re a moron.  Read more…

What does one trillion dollars look like

I saw this link on a news website and it just blew me away.  We have got to get a handle on the spendocrats.  This is truly awesome in a holy crap sort of way.  It definitely puts it in perspective.
