I realize that it’s extremely en vogue right now to be earth-conscious and that’s fine. We should take care of the earth the best we can because it’s the only one we’ve got. However, we should take care of it because we have a need to do it, not because we have someone dictating what we should do based on false scientific data. If someone can show me definitively where humans are causing global warming, I’ll become one of the most vocal supporters out there. However, there are way too many studies that are showing that global warming is not human-caused. Just because the earth is getting warm, or cold for that matter, is no reason to pass all kinds of legislation. GLOBAL WARMING IS NOT CAUSED BY HUMANS!!! The current administration is tring to make a crisis out of it so they can pass legislation, just like they did with the porkulus bill.

She has knowingly helped her husband’s business by submitting legislation to aid him. His company made $20 million on insider trading. Do you think we’ll see an investigation by the SEC? Probably not. Do you think her constituents will vote her in again? Probably. Only because they are nimwited morons.
When are we going to get fed up with this crap?! I’m there! Anyone want to join me? Call and/or write your Senators and have them open an inquiry into this. She should be tossed. At the very least she should be censured.

There are differing opinions on whether global warming (now called climate change as there have been scientific observations of global cooling) exists or doesn’t. And if it does exist, what’s mankind’s part in making it worse. I have contended from the earliest days of conversation on the topic that the earth goes thru cyclical changes and these changes don’t occur over the span of a few years. The changes occur over hundreds and/or thousands of years. There were two articles on Saturday on the topic. One is about how Congress is considering far-reaching legislation that would ultimately increase everyone’s spending on energy as Congress is contemplating putting huge taxes and fees on energy companies. This is the next cash cow. Everyone jump on board if you can stomach it. I, personally, would have a hard time making money off of a lie. I’m just funny that way I guess. I don’t believe in fleecing anyone. But Al Gore doesn’t have a conscious. He has made over $100M on scaring people into thinking that global warming exists. He owns huge stakes in companies that sell carbon credits. Feel bad about all the emissions from your plane trip to see family over spring break? No problem. Buy carbon credits from one of fat Al’s companies and they’ll plant a tree for you so you can feel like you’re “carbon neutral”.
I’m telling you. If you can get right with it, there’s alot of money to be made here.
Since I am the Arizona Carnivore, it’s pretty obvious I’m in AZ. There is a website here that is organizing a tea party event for April 15. I would urge everyone, whether in AZ or not, to go join a tea party. Let your voice be heard. My greatest fear is that this movement will die down after April 15th. We need to continue to carry the message forward. For me, this is not something that goes away once my tax return is filed. I hope you feel the same way.

As some of you may know, I just started a group on LinkedIn called Patriots for America. While I was researching and figuring out that group name, I ran across a website called www.ouramericanvalues.org. I looked around a bit on the website and saw a comment on the “About Us” page that made me think that maybe this site was actually anti- 2nd Amendment. I called the number on the website (this is actually a website for a non-profit organization) and talked to a very nice young lady that referred me to the president of the organization, Gary Bauer. Gary Bauer worked in the Reagan administration and he ran for President of the US for the 2000 election. I gave the gal my email info and name and Mr. Bauer sent me an email. He says he supports the 2nd Amendment although it’s not one of his organizations primary issues. I sent a response email to him. I have included the emails for your perusal.
