Obama’s two week report card

I got this from a friend of mine. I’m not sure who originally penned it.

OBAMA’S TWO-WEEK RECAP
1, The American people elect the first ever black president with a total
of 42 days experience as a U S Senator from the most
politically corrupt state in America whose governor is
ousted from office. The President’s first official act
is to close Gitmo and make sure Terrorists civil rights are
not violated.
2, The U.S. Congress rushes to confirm the first ever black Attorney
General, Eric Holder, whose law firm we later find out
represents seventeen Gitmo Terrorists.
3, The CIA Boss, Leon Penetta with absolutely no
experience, has a daughter Linda we find out, that is a true
radical anti-American activist who is a supporter of all the
Anti-American regimes in the western hemisphere.
4. We got the most corrupt female in America as Secretary
of State; bought and paid for.
5. We got a Tax Cheat for Treasury Secretary who files his
own taxes.
6. A Commerce Secretary nominee who withdrew due to
corruption charges.
7. A Tax cheat nominee for Chief Performance Officer who
withdrew under charges.
8. A Labor Sec’y nominee who withdrew under charges of
unethical conduct.
9. A Sec’y HHS nominee who withdrew under charges of
cheating on his taxes.
And that’s just the first two weeks . . . but who’s
counting.
America is being run by the modern-day Three Stooges ~
Barrack, Nancy, and Harry ~ and they are still trying to
define stimulus.
Stimulus is where the government gives a smidgen of your
tax dollars back to you making you feel so good about
yourself [stimulated] that you want to run out to Wal-Mart
and buy a new Chinese-made HDTV and go home and watch
Telemundo!

Brown and turbans have nothing to do with that which you speak. If you want to consider these all terrorist acts, then I guess we should consider the incident at Virginia Tech a terrorist act. And maybe the two people who were shot outside Walmart in Show Low, AZ were victims of a terrorist attack. It all comes down to your definition I guess. And I’m not sure why you have a problem with 1-9 in the original post as they are all confirmed facts. I don’t make them up. I just write about them.@sunnysongbird

Amazing what you wish to hear and not hear…. The FACT is that it was Clinton who had the opportunity to take out Bin Laden. He was in sites and Clinton said no… Had he pulled the trigger 9/11 would possibly never have happened. Thank you Mr. Clinton.
Now we have a president with less than 100 days experience, I hope he succeeds in keeping us safe!!! His decision to close Gitmo, a pure political stunt, is already backfiring as he realizes that he simply cannot let these people go and now he’s scrambling to find places for them… Imagine Obama in control of a 9/11 situation when he can’t even plan an exit strategy for a wrapped and delivered situation!!!!

I believe Bush’s approval rating was higher than Obama’s rating as well. It’s funny how the you libs can’t handle what you dish out…

Oh, and by the way, 9/11 wouldn’t have even HAPPENED if Bush had done his job properly. Too bad he refused to listen to the Clinton info guy (oh, wait, sorry. Meeting set for September 19, I think it was, jsut a few days too late!) because protecting our country against terrorism (before 9/11) was a “Clinton thing.” (Bush’s words, not mine)

So, had Bush kept us safe IN THE FIRST PLACE, there would be no need for those billions to be getting lost in Halliburton’s (oops, Xe’s! Sorry!) pockets and sucked out of our own economy to “rebuild” a country that is going to take our time and energy for most probably decades to come.

In fact, he kind of played into Osama bin Laden’s hands. Bin Laden had been known to say that he wanted us to be brought down financially. He knew enough history to know that the Middle East always has been and still is a quagmire just waiting to suck victims in with the illusion of being to go in and rule over them. And guess what we did? We lept before looking, and got firmly stuck.

But don’t mind me. Facts have a liberal bias, as they say.

You really should go check out some other blogs. Liberal and conservative. Try http://www.redstate.com, and http://www.crooksandliars.com. Two good places to start.

    @azcarnivore
    Ack!

    Ack! Ack! Ack!

I ahte it when people try to bring this one up, especially since it’s just SO wrong.

What about the anthrax scare within weeks of 9/11?

What about the Beltway Sniper in October of 2002?

What about 2006-09-12, when gunmen attacked the US Embassy in Syria?

What about Adkisson, who shot up the Unitarian Church, this LAST JULY?

I can come up with more.

Or do these not count because the perpetrators weren’t necessarily brown and wearing turbans?

In my opinion, the highest responsibility of the President is to ensure the country is safe. I give credit to President Bush for keeping us safe after 9/11. It’s a fact as there were no other significan attacks on US soil from 9/11 until his term was up. I think that’s an absolute. History will judge the rest of his Presidency.

As to our current President, his approval rating is coming down. But there was really nowhere for it to go but down. I think the American people are now starting to get over being starstruck and are looking at what’s really happening. Some that were enthralled are now being yanked into a different reality.
